2010 Season
Tough Defense; Fails to Close Out Games
Regular Season
The 2010 season saw two new Junior teams join the conference. This laid the way for a very hard-fought and extremely competitive season. Going into the final tournament of the season, only a single team (Marlow) were unable to qualify for the post-season playoffs.
Despite their hard work and effort, the Exiles kept falling short of wins. No less than three games were lost on the final play of the game!
Many signs of real progress and promise were on display, though. Some sparkling football was played, especially on defense where the Exiles finished the season ranked sixth nationally, a tremendous achievement for a team finishing with a losing record.
Sadly, with a depleted squad due to a re-arranged tournament overlapping with the rugby season, the Exiles were unable to give a true account of their ability at the end of the season, which resulted in the final two games of the season being forfeited.
